Security guards in Brent

Albiz Security can provide SIA-licensed security officers anywhere in Brent, which holds part of Park Royal, the UK's largest industrial estate, and Wembley, where the stadium held 51 events in 2025. Officers can run gatehouses and patrol yards, guard building sites from Wembley to South Kilburn and work in shops on Brent's high streets, we can plan shifts at nearby premises around stadium event days, and we monitor officers and sites 24/7.

Which parts of Brent do we cover?

All of it, from Kilburn and Queen’s Park in the south-east to Kingsbury and Kenton in the north and Alperton in the west.

Brent has four Strategic Industrial Locations in the London Plan: Wembley, Staples Corner on the North Circular, East Lane, and Park Royal, which spreads into Ealing. The Old Oak and Park Royal Development Corporation describes Park Royal as the UK’s largest industrial estate, with more than 1,700 businesses and 40,000 jobs in everything from food production and logistics to film. The wider Old Oak and Park Royal Opportunity Area has room for 25,500 homes and 65,000 jobs.

Wembley is a Major town centre that the London Plan expects to reach Metropolitan status, with a night-time economy of international or national significance (London Plan). The Wembley Opportunity Area has room for 14,000 homes and 13,500 jobs, and Wembley Park is a district centre in its own right. At its heart is Wembley Stadium, which has planning permission as a 90,000-seat sports and entertainment stadium (Brent Council).

Kilburn High Road, shared with Camden, is Brent’s other Major centre. Harlesden, Willesden Green, Neasden, Ealing Road and Preston Road are district centres, and Kingsbury, Kenton, Colindale, Cricklewood and Burnt Oak are shared with Barnet or Harrow.

Brent’s hospitals include Northwick Park, off Watford Road, and Central Middlesex in Park Royal (London North West University Healthcare). The University of Westminster’s Harrow campus, also on Watford Road at Northwick Park, is in Brent too, despite its name (University of Westminster).

What needs guarding in Brent?

Food and logistics sites. Park Royal produces and processes around 30% of the food eaten in London (OPDC). At a depot or factory, an officer on the gate can check drivers, vehicles and visitors against your delivery schedule, and patrol the yard and perimeter out of hours: see warehouse and industrial security. Where lorries and people on foot share a yard, traffic marshals can keep them apart.

Building sites. In the Wembley Opportunity Area and Brent’s other growth areas, sites need the gate run through the working day and guarding at night and weekends: see construction site security.

Functions and venues. For a conference, party or private function in Wembley Park or elsewhere in the borough, our event security officers can check guests in, look after the rooms and manage queues, working to your event plan and the venue’s rules.

High streets. On Kilburn High Road, in Harlesden or along Ealing Road, a uniformed retail security officer gives your shop floor a visible presence and backs up your staff.

How do event days and boundaries affect Brent premises?

  • The calendar is getting fuller. The stadium held 18 events in 2022, 30 in 2023, 40 in 2024 and 51 in 2025 (Brent Council). In September 2024, Brent’s planning committee resolved to raise its cap from 46 to 54 major events a year, and to count only events of more than 60,000 people as major (Brent Council). The council’s 2026 evidence puts the stadium close to that limit.
  • Event days change the streets. The stadium’s permission comes with temporary traffic management, event-day street cleaning and a stewarding strategy. If your site or premises are nearby, check the fixtures before you set delivery times, shift changes or concrete pours, and plan how officers will get in.
  • Carnival weekend reaches south Brent. Notting Hill Carnival is held in W11, in neighbouring Kensington and Chelsea, and in 2026 Brent gave notice of temporary orders closing some of its own roads in NW10 to vehicles over the carnival weekend, because of the crowds expected (Brent Council notice). If your premises are in the south of the borough, check the orders before that weekend.
  • Park Royal has its own planning authority. The Old Oak and Park Royal Development Corporation, not Brent, is the planning authority there, so check its rules before you plan works on a site.

Questions

Questions about security in Brent

Can you cover premises near Wembley Stadium on event days?

Yes. Send us the event dates and we'll plan officers' shifts and travel around them. The stadium's planning permission comes with temporary traffic management, event-day street cleaning and a stewarding strategy, so the streets around it work differently on the day (Brent Council).

Do you cover Park Royal around the clock?

Yes. We can provide officers for days, nights, weekends and bank holidays anywhere in Park Royal and at Brent's other industrial areas at Wembley, Staples Corner and East Lane, and we monitor officers and sites 24/7.

Which council looks after Park Royal?

The estate is split between Brent and Ealing, and the wider Old Oak and Park Royal area reaches Hammersmith and Fulham. The Old Oak and Park Royal Development Corporation, not the boroughs, is the planning authority there (London Plan).
